Fucus vesiculosus known by the common name bladder wrack, is a perennial brown seaweed found on the coasts of the North Sea, western Baltic Sea,the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Bladderwrack is rich in iodine, alginic acid and fucoidan all which attribute to this seaweeds exceptional health benefits.

Traditionally bladderwrack was used to treat goiter, thyroid disorders, weight loss, diarrhea and gastritis gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD). Like other seaweeds contain fibres which act as prebiotics to feed your good bacteria/flora.
