Ginger Juice
Biography
Ginger is the underground rhizome of the ginger plant. Ginger root juice has a strong zingy uplifting taste so its best to only use a very small amount. I personally use about an inch chunk in my juices.
The pungent warming and stimulating aroma is what has made this root a favorite amongst juicers not to mention the amazing benefits ginger has to offer.
Tradtionally ginger root is very popular in chinese medicine and is often praised for its circulation, nausea curbing and digestive benefits. Studies have shown ginger root to be far more beneficial than over the coutner Dramamine for countering nausea and motion sickness.

Ginger root juice is a rich source of the nutrients potassium, phosphorus, choline, folic acid, iron, vitamin C and small amounts of the b vitamin group.
Ginger juice is rich in a phytonutrient compound called gingerol, which has many studied properties such as anti-nausea, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer.
